The promoters of the Sandcreek Shootout in Wahoo, NE would like to see some more vehicles at this year’s event on June 1, 2013. To accomplish this the Sandcreek Shootout will pay the NPPA insurance portion of a one night hook fee ($60.00) for any new competition vehicle in any of the sanctioned classes that the NPPA offers (the vehicle cannot have pulled with the NPPA for the 2012 season). This means that you will just have to pay $15.00 for each of the two classes ($30.00 total) that night.
We can also roll that into a full membership and it would only cost you an additional $140.00 to become a full member and then you will be included in any year end points payouts for those that place well enough as well as fuel money.
Also please remember that we are trying a new payout with only fully paid members getting fuel money and the rest going toward the points fund and we now allow 640 3×3 tractors to pull with our 466 3×4 tractors like was done in Lincoln for the indoor pull.

Just a reminder for everyone and those new pullers looking to join the club that the NPPA is attempting a different payout this year. All paid members will receive an equal portion of the payout (“fuel money”) with the remainder and hook fees going toward the year end points. To be eligible for the “fuel money” you must be a full paid member for the year. One day hooks will not be eligible for the “fuel money” or year end points money.

On March 30, 2013 the NPPA Limited Pro-Stock Tractor class met to have their rules meeting for any 2013 rules changes. Below is a copy of what was decided.
After the tractor class meeting the General NPPA Spring Meeting was held. At this meeting it was voted that we bring back the Modified 4×4 class on a trial basis for the 2013 season. After the General Meeting those pullers in attendance from the Modified 4×4 class met to setup some rules. These rules are simply a starting point and can be modified through a class vote and taken to the officers during the season. Below is a copy of the rules that were decided.
The NPPA Rulebook has been updated to reflect these changes.
Please also note that the schedule is filling out. All pulls that are named on the schedule have paid their deposit and we have received their signed contract. Those still marked as tentative we have not.

The Spring Meeting has been set for Saturday March 30, 2013. We will be having this meeting at the Heritage Inn in Wahoo, NE. At the Fall meeting, the 466 Limited Pro tractors decided to wait until the Spring meeting to discuss their rule changes. Due to this, they will have a rules meeting starting at 1:00 PM. The general Spring meeting for all pullers will start at 3:00 PM.
These meetings are open to all current and prospective pullers. If you currently have or are starting to build a puller that would fit in with our 2wd Street Modified, 4×4 Street Modified, 2.8 Pro-Mod Diesel, 2wd Modified, or 466 Limited Pro Tractors that you plan on pulling with us in 2013, please attend the meeting to make sure that you get your points. Meeting attendance is rewarded with 5 points. Discussions are in the works to bring back the 4×4 Modified class if there is trucks to support it. There has also been discussion about making changes to the 466 Limited Pro tractors to allow Super Farm Tractors to run in our tractor class. Before any of these changes can be made, we need to determine how much support there is so attendance is crucial! Please spread the word to fellow pullers, and we look forward to seeing you on March 30th.

Fall Banquet and Meeting Notice
We have scheduled the Fall rules meeting to be Saturday November 3, 2012. The meeting will start at 3:00 PM in the conference room at the Heritage Inn in Wahoo, NE. This meeting is a rules meeting and we will be electing new clubofficers (so put some thought into any new rules and who you want to see as an officer/TI). This is a points event for all current and future members for the 2013 season.
After the Fall Rules Meeting we will have the 2012 Awards Banquet. This is for current members only. The Awards Banquet will start at drinks and conversation at 4:30
PM (or at the conclusion of our rules meeting), our meal starting around 6:00 PM, and the
awards ceremony will start after everyone is finished with our meal. Thank you,
